The Things Kids Say

Tristan just asked me for watermelon juice, in a red cup with no top, in the kitchen. What a specific request! He did say "please," so I obliged. Well, he immediately bumped the cup against the side of the kitchen table, spilling watermelon juice all over the floor. He looked up at me and, with a very sad expression, said, "Mommy, can you please clean it up, and not be mad?" :)
