Sleepin' With My Dad
Matt's childhood best friend, Pierce, sent a present for the boys recently. Tristan immediately named it "the daddy doll". Here was what I saw the other night when I went in to check on him. The next morning, I asked him who he'd been sleeping with. He told me, "I was sleepin' with my dad."

Ugh!!! Its so sad. I could cry just thinking about all the time our children are missing with their dads. Good thing that didn't happen in my house because I would have been a mess all day. Only 3 1/2 months left. Yea!

That's so incredibly sweet and sad at the same time... I told David about it last night, and he just melted and we both nearly cried!
Reading your blog has made me think a lot more about the huge sacrifices our military families make so the rest of us can go on about our happy lives and live comfortably. Thanks for being that reminder for me! I don't ever want to forget that.
